Olivia Goldhill

Olivia Goldhill is an investigative journalist who has been reporting on psychedelics, pharma and mental health for more than a decade. Currently a features editor at New Scientist magazine, her writing has also appeared in publications such as the Guardian, Telegraph and The New York Times. Goldhill is a New America fellow, supported by Jonathan Logan Family Foundation, and her work has been recognised as a 2022 British Journalism Awards finalist, 2021 EPPY finalist, and a 2020 Livingston Award finalist.

Her first book, Empire of the Mind, explores the potential for psychedelics to transform both the existing mental health industry and our understanding of our own minds, while holding those controlling psychedelics to account. She is based in London.
