Every Brain Belongs (Paperback)

Understanding and Supporting the Neurodivergent People in Your Life (Including Yourself)

Barry M. Prizant

Bestselling author of the groundbreaking autism book Uniquely Human offers a guide to deeper understanding of neurodivergence and richer relationships between us all

"People flourish when they're understood."

Having a brain that works differently affects how you think, communicate and behave. Too often, these differences are judged as flaws: children unable to concentrate are disruptive; colleagues unable to sit still are unproductive. It is only with proper understanding that neurodiverse and neurotypical people can forge rewarding connections for a more neuro-inclusive world.

Every Brain Belongs reframes our perception of neurodivergence as a unique way of thinking and behaving. Drawing on decades of work with neurodivergent individuals and their families, and the curiosity and compassion that has driven his world class research, Dr Barry Prizant shares stories and clinical tools to help neurodivergent people fulfil their potential - and lead neurotypical individuals to celebrate distinctiveness all around them.
