Andrew Hill is an award-winning journalist, writer and public speaker. A senior writer at the Financial Times, he is the author of Leadership in the Headlines and prize-winning Ruskinland. Over a thirty-year career, Andrew has used shorthand to report from around the world; his top speed was once an impressive 130 words per minute.

Jonathan E. Hillman is the author of The Digital Silk Road, and a Senior Advisor to the U.S. Secretary of State's Office of Policy Planning. He was previously a Senior Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), which has been named the #1 think tank in the United States. Hillman is a world authority on China's economic and foreign policy. He has also served as a policy advisor to the U.S. Trade Representative, testified before Congress, briefed Fortune 500 executives, and his commentary has been published in the Washington Post, the Financial Times, and the Wall Street Journal.

Charlie Hill is a writer from Birmingham. His first novel was recently described as 'an inventive debut' by the Observer and 'wonderfully observed' by The Times. His short stories have appeared in Ambit, Stand and The View From Here.

Rosemary Hill is a writer and historian. She has written two prize-winning books, God's Architect, a life of A.W.N. Pugin and Stonehenge. She is a contributing editor to the London Review of Books, a fellow the Society of Antiquaries and the Royal Society of Literature and a Quondam Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. She lives in London and is working on a history of antiquarianism in the Romantic period.

Susan Hill is the winner of numerous literary prizes including the Somerset Maugham award. She was awarded CBE for her services to literature earlier this year. Author of the Simon Serrailler crime series and numerous other novels, her literary memoir, Howards End Is On The Landing and the ghost stories The Man In The Picture, The Small Hand, Dolly and Printers Devil Court are all published by Profile. The Woman in Black, which was has been running in the West End for over twenty years, and was a huge film in 2012 is published by Profile in hardback.

Vernon Hill was the founder of the hugely successful Commerce Bank in the US and now Metro Bank in the UK, Britain's first new high street bank for over a century. He is one of only a handful of chief executives ever to be a member of the Forbes 20/20 club: to have stayed in the same job for over two decades paying more than 20% returns every year. This is far more exceptional than it sounds. This is his first book.

Porter Hill is the pseudonym of a writer whose family connections with British India go back to the early nineteenth century. Educated in England, he had a life-long interest in Indian and naval history and spent many years studying the British conquest of the subcontinent. He wrote a series of books about Adam Horne, a captain in the 1760s Bombay Marine.

Uli Hesse is the author of Tor!, the definitive history of German football, a contributor to 11Freunde magazine and a regular ESPN columnist. He has also published four German-language books.

Peter Hessler is a staff writer at the New Yorker, where he served as Beijing correspondent from 2000-2007, and is also a contributing writer for National Geographic. He is the author of River Town, which won the Kiriyama Book Prize, Oracle Bones, which was a finalist for the National Book Award, Country Driving and Strange Stones. He won the 2008 National Magazine Award for excellence in reporting.

Dr. Patricia Hewlin is an award-winning behavioural scientist with 20+ years of experience researching authenticity and conformity around the world. Currently on faculty at the Desautels Faculty of Management in McGill University, Dr. Hewlin is a native New Yorker who holds her PhD in organizational behavior and MBA in finance from New York University's Stern School of Business. Her work has been featured in mainstream media, including the Huffington Post, The Times, Harvard Business Review Online and Globe and Mail, and her scholarship has been published in numerous academic journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science and Journal of Applied Psychology, among others. In addition to her research and teaching, Dr. Hewlin is also a professional consultant who works with major pharmaceutical, retail and finance companies, as well as arts organizations (fun fact: she has playbill credits for Hamilton, Moulin Rouge, and more).
